At Celestia College, we believe that true education is neither rushed nor routine; it is moulded. Implanted in curiosity and sculpted by care, our institution stimulates learners not merely for examinations but for the way of life itself. At Celestia, each child is seen not as a vessel to be filled, but as a mind to be awakened.
Our Story
For over a decade, our founders stood quietly at the edges, watching, studying, and asking: What does it mean to truly educate a child in Sri Lanka? What emerged was not a critique, but a blueprint.
After more than ten years of intensive research into the gaps and silences in the Sri Lankan education system, Celestia College was born, not as a rebellion, but as a reimagining. We paid attention to what the system had forgotten: that children need more than theory to thrive. And so, we reformed the initial strategy, placing the needs of palpable, thinking, active learners back at the centre of the classroom.
We placed the learner back at the heart of education, crafting a space where curiosity thrives, minds grow, and potential is limitless.
This is more than a school. It's a new way forward.

To be a pioneering force in Sri Lankan education, delivering academic excellence through the internationally benchmarked Cambridge curriculum while concurrently equipping students with vocational fluency and real-world readiness from the earliest stages of learning. Mission
To endow each child with a constellation of enduring competencies intellectual, ethical, and adaptive so they may not merely succeed but contribute with discernment and lead with integrity. This school was founded from a deep desire to create something meaningful for our children, a place where learning transcends textbooks, and where every child, regardless of their background or ability, is given the opportunity to grow, thrive, and lead.

Our curriculum adheres to the globally recognised Cambridge syllabus, but our primary focus is on nurturing the whole child. We impart values such as respect, empathy, and resilience alongside core subjects.
